Tell Congress to Protect NIH From Cuts in FY25

Congress is in the process of determining funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in fiscal year (FY) 2025. This will affect all researchers who receive grant funding from NIH.  Funding for NIH is in serious jeopardy with some members of Congress looking to make deep cuts. This is why the Endocrine Society needs all NIH-funded endocrine researchers to advocate for Congressional support for NIH. The Endocrine Society is urging Congress to maintain a sustained, predictable investment to the NIH base budget and preserve federal research funding to maintain paylines and protect early-stage investigators and trainees. To protect NIH from severe cuts, it is critical that your Representative and Senators hear from you about this issue.
