"The timeline recently outlined by HHS for finalizing that rulemaking by the fall and issuing a funding announcement in December 2021 will mean that current and former Title X entities will largely see no relief from the Trump rule until mid 2022. For family planning and sexual health provider networks already devastated by the impact of the Trump rule and also facing a global pandemic, this is simply not soon enough. We urge the Biden-Harris administration to continue moving this process forward with the urgency warranted by the situation and take all necessary actions to offer relief in 2021."
