Session Description: Recent innovations in insulin therapy include the use of bioequivalent formulations, ultra-long and ultra-rapid acting insulins, as well as the availability of more concentrated formulations. These enable more flexibility for clinicians tailoring regimens to individual patient needs. This presentation will use an interactive case-based approach to illustrate the differences among the available insulins and provide practical strategies for prescribing.
