Virtual Career Fair is Latest Initiative to Help Members Progress in Careers

April 10, 2022

By Nathalia Prada, Manager of Marketing

Professional organizations such as ours serve many functions, not the least of which is to help members excel in their careers. At the Society, we’re proud of our many initiatives that allow endocrinologists of all backgrounds and specialties to achieve their professional goals.

We’re particularly excited about our upcoming Virtual Career Fair, which promises to be among the largest career fairs for endocrinologists this year

The event takes place June 23 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and features recruiters from private practices, group practices, hospitals, industry, and health systems nationwide. All are seeking talented individuals for positions in general endocrinology and endocrine-related disciplines.

This is a unique opportunity for advancement, and we encourage all interested members to participate, whether you’re taking your first career step or looking for a new senior-level position. The Virtual Fair will let you quickly peruse a wide range of employer profiles and job openings. If you find something that strikes your interest, you can quickly set up a personal meeting with the employer via live chat or video chat.

This is our second Virtual Career Fair. We know that many members in past years enjoyed visiting the in-person Career Fair that we hosted in the Expo Hall at ENDO. We agree there’s nothing quite like the buzz of a live fair and meeting potential employers with a firm handshake. But we also know the pandemic still is affecting in-person events. Fortunately, the virtual environment has proven to be highly effectively in connect recruiters and job seekers alike.

The added advantage is you don’t need to attend ENDO to participate. You can participate from anywhere for free. Just sign up!

But if you are attending ENDO 2022, June 11-13, we invite you to visit our new Communications & Career Center located in the ENDOExpo. The space combines education, news, and networking in one location. Part CNN-style situation desk, part semi-private and communal career-building space, the Triple C is your hub for ENDO22 event news and professional growth at ENDO22.

Opportunities Year Round

These early-summer career activities not your only opportunity to advance up the professional ladder. Throughout the year, members are encouraged to visit our online EndoCareers center, where you will find a wealth of resources, including:

In addition, we hold an Early Career Forum each year for graduate students, medical students, postdoctoral fellows, internal medicine residents, and clinical fellows. This day-long workshop lets participants connect with today’s leading endocrinology experts. Among other things, they gain:
