By Staff

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Washington, D.C., and that can mean only one thing: ENDO registration is in full swing! If you haven’t already done so, we encourage you to register today to take advantage of our lowest rates and best hotel options.

As in past years, ENDO 2025 in San Francisco CA, July 12-15, will offer peerless educational programming and excellent networking opportunities. The entire global endocrinology ecosystem will gather in this beautiful city by the bay for ENDO 2025. You won’t want to miss it!

Planning Your ENDO 2025 Visit

To start with, ENDO 2025 will feature more than 200 educational sessions. The Society aims to make it easy for attendees to navigate these many options.

Attendees can find sessions that suit their specific interests by using our convenient program planner.

Sessions are divided into 12 topical pathways:

  • Adipose Tissue, Appetite, and Obesity
  • Adrenal (excluding mineralocorticoids)
  • Bone and Mineral Metabolism
  • Cardiovascular Endocrinology
  • Diabetes and Vascular Disease
  • General Endocrinology
  • Receptor Biology and Signal Transduction
  • Neuroendocrinology and Pituitary
  • Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology
  • Reproductive Endocrinology
  • Thyroid Biology and Cancer
  • Tumor Biology

The diabetes and vascular disease pathway, for instance, offers nearly 30 sessions, including The Year in Diabetes Technology, Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease in People with Type 1 Diabetes: Where are We Now and What Lies Ahead?, The Management of Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes (CFRD), and “Endocrine Society Scientific Statement: Pathophysiology of Type 1 Diabetes.”

Another way to plan your visit is by science type. The program planner allows you to search for and find sessions that fall under the following categories: basic, basic and translational, bench to bedside, clinical, clinical and translational, or translational.

Attendees also are encouraged to take in our popular Meet the Professor (MTP) and Meet the Scientist (MTS) sessions.

The 42 MTP offerings alone include sessions on: "Treatment of Obesity in Patients with Complex Comorbidities,"“Unhappy Hypothyroid Patient, and “How to Approach the Child with Short Stature Not Responding to Growth Hormone Treatment.” Our MTS offerings include equally interesting sessions on “Serendipitous Discoveries of Sex Differences in Research,” “and Unraveling the Limits and Power of Animal Models of Metabolic Disease.”

Coming Together for the Plenaries

A highlight of each ENDO is the series of plenary sessions on our main stage. Here we gather to celebrate winners of our Laureate Awards and explore some of the biggest endocrine research issues facing the world today.

ENDO’s three plenaries this year are:

  • “Genomics in Health Care” (July 12)
  • “Women’s Reproductive Health: Aging and Environment” (July 13)
  • “Innovative Approaches in Obesity Care: From Molecules to Society” (July 14)

Each of these sessions will be led by some of the world’s leading experts.

These plenary sessions always draw strong interest, and many attendees want to learn more from our speakers. That’s why this year, for the first time, attendees are invited to join a discussion with presenters in the ENDOExpo hall. Attendees can dive deeper into the topic and engage in a lively exchange of ideas with the experts.

ENDOExpo and Networking Opportunities

Speaking of ENDOExpo, the hall will be the hub of ENDO’s multifaceted and exciting networking and professional development activities.

For instance, ENDOExpo will be the site of thousands of scientific posters that have been submitted for presentation. This is a chance to interact and ask questions with researchers on the leading edge of our field.

ENDOExpo also is the site of more than 100 industry partners who will be on hand to discuss the products and services that are so crucial to our field. The hall will be site of more than 20 Science and Innovation Theaters, where you can learn about the latest therapies and technologies. We appreciate our generous exhibitors and sponsors who continue to support ENDO and the mission of the Society.

Those looking to advance their careers are encouraged to stop by our annual Career Fair, which this year will be located directly outside of the ENDOExpo main entrance on Sunday afternoon.

Attendees are welcome to drop by the Endocrine Society booth, located at the heart of ENDOExpo. Here you can learn everything about our organization and chat with the Society staff. The booth is the location of our ENDO Store, where you can find unique gifts for yourself and loved ones!

We know our members are serious clinicians and researchers. But we also know they like to have fun.

Our always fabulous Opening Reception, a highlight of the meeting, will take place in the ENDOExpo on July 12. Something new this year is our 5K Fun Run/Walk, which takes place on July 13. Another way for attendees to network throughout the day is through our ENDO Buddy program, which matches veteran members with those new to the field.

Stay tuned for notices on other receptions and networking opportunities.

Putting it Together

Hosting each ENDO is a huge endeavor that requires dedication and countless hours from many volunteers and staff members. ENDO 2025 is no exception.

This planning task falls mainly on the Annual Meeting Steering Committee (AMSC), which identifies and invites speakers, reviews and selects abstracts, and evaluates all of the ENDO educational components for scientific integrity, effectiveness, and quality.

This year’s AMSC included more than 50 volunteers led by AMSC overall chair Niki Karavitaki, MSc, PhD, FRCP. She was ably assisted by chairs overseeing various meeting components: Barbara Gisella Carranza Leon, MD, AMSC, clinical practice chair; Monica M Laronda, PhD, basic science chair; and Robin Patrick Peeters, MD, PhD, clinical science chair.

Thank you to these hardworking leaders! We hope to see all of our members in San Francisco, July 12-15 for ENDO 2025!
