Partnership Will Advance Education in Basic Science Research

Our members represent a wide array of endocrine fields and specialties – from medical doctors seeing patients every day to basic scientists discovering the next breakthrough. In the Society’s education department, we aim to provide programming that benefits all of our diverse stakeholders.
That’s the motivation behind our new partnership with conference organizer Keystone Symposia.
In Keystone, we saw an ideal partner to provide a premier educational experience for our research and scientist members, with a unique angle – bench to bedside, bedside back to bench. Keystone is widely regarded in the biomedical and life sciences community for hosting meetings that are tightly focused around the interests of scientists engaged in research.
Keystone conferences are renowned for being intimate and interactive, and inspiring attendees to pursue new lines of inquiry that can advance discoveries. They’re a perfect fit for the Society. Our partnership initially will feature a series of three conferences to advance endocrine research on:
These conferences are slated to launch in late 2026 or early 2027 and will run for at least three years. We’re proud to be part of this endeavor that aims to accelerate scientific breakthroughs that can ultimately lead to improved clinical outcomes for patients.
Our upcoming meetings with Keystone come on the heels of another science-based meeting that we held recently in Albuquerque, NM.
We were delighted to report the success of our 1st International Conference on Steroid Hormones and Receptors (SHR 2024), held October 16-18, 2024, at the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The event drew top scientists, researchers, and physicians from around the world to discuss advances in steroid hormone action in biology and medicine. Together the group explored the steroid hormone’s role in biology, chemistry, pharmacology, oncology, neurology, metabolism, cardiovascular biology and endocrinology.
Moving forward, we will continue to host similar new and exciting programs that address the needs of our basic science members. And, of course, we’ll continue to provide top-flight programs for our clinician members.
