Dr. Nanette Santoro has served as E. Stewart Taylor Chair of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine since 2010. She has headed studies of women with premature and age-appropriate menopause such as the Women’s Health Initiative, the Kronos Early Estrogen Prevention Study (KEEPS) and the Study of Women's Health Across the Nation. She is an active practitioner and has been named a ‘5280 Magazine Top Doctor’ every year since 2016. She is a dedicated mentor and PI of the Women's Reproductive Health Research K12, co-PI of the Building Interdisciplinary Careers in Women's Health K12, and PI of the Clinical Reproductive Endocrine Scientist Training (CREST) Program R25 grant. She is past Vice President for Clinical Research for the Endocrine Society and was Mentor Laureate Award recipient in 2016. She has served on the TES Nominating Committee, Annual Meeting Steering Committee, Government Relations, and Special Programs Committees. She Chaired the TES Scientific Statement on Bioidentical Hormones. She is Past President of the Society for Reproductive Investigation and was elected to the National Academy of Medicine in 2018.
