Irina Bancos, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and adrenal endocrinologist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She received her MD from the Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Danbury Hospital in Connecticut. She received the 2017 and 2020 Teacher of the Year Awards in Endocrinology from the Mayo Fellows' Association.
