Steroid Hormones and Receptors 2024 Conference (SHR 2024) Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made by Wednesday, September 18, 2024 will receive a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee. Except in the case of extenuating circumstances, the Society will not issue cancellation refunds for registration submitted after 11:59 PM ET on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Registrants who provide a written notification to the Endocrine Society for the following circumstances, may receive a full refund less a $50 USD processing fee:

  • A death in the family
  • Personal injury or personal sudden illness
  • Acts of God, war, or government mandated travel restrictions

Cancellations requested for other reasons will be reviewed by the Endocrine Society to determine eligibility for full or partial refunds. Cancellation requests submitted after September 18, 2024, will be reviewed and processed after SHR 2024, October 16-18, 2024. All cancellation requests must be submitted by October 18, 2024 and must be accompanied by a detailed explanation. No refund will be issued for cancellation requests submitted after October 18, 2024. All cancellations must be received in writing. 

The Endocrine Society reserves the right to charge the correct amount if different from the total payment listed.
